About Us
MEDEVAC AMBULANCE operates a fleet of vehicles including 12 State-of-the-Art ambulances and 6 wheel chair vans. These units are based in Ellwood City, New Castle, and the City of Pittsburgh. Our crews are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and within minutes of receiving a call for assistance, a highly trained crew of at least one Paramedic and one Emergency Medical Technician is in route to the scene.
Our corporate office and station in Ellwood City also includes a modern dispatch center staffed by Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certified communications specialists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Computer Aided Dispatching software and GPS vehicle tracking assists our communications specialists to dispatch the closest available ambulance to the incident location. Additionally, we work closely with Beaver County and Lawrence County 911 Communications Centers.
