About Us

The Rotary Club of New Castle #89, chartered in 1913, is a community-focused service organization rooted in the Rotary principle of Service Above Self. Founded by local leaders, the club continues over a century of commitment to improving lives both locally and globally. As part of Rotary International, members unite to address real needs through service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.

Rotarians in New Castle support a wide range of community efforts, including annual grants and giving to local nonprofits, participation in service projects like park improvements, roadside cleanups, and veteran support events, and contributions to causes such as literacy, health, and youth development. The club also engages in broader Rotary programs such as Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and student leadership retreats.

The club meets regularly for lunch and community-oriented discussions, and membership is open to individuals and corporate designees who embrace service and community involvement. Through volunteer work, fundraising, and partnerships, the Rotary Club of New Castle strengthens our Lawrence County community.

The Club often meets in downtown New Castle at The Confluence 214 E Washington St, New Castle, PA 16101, but be sure to check their calendar for Rotary event and meeting dates, times, and locations.
