VOICES IN THE STONES:
Encounters with the Holocaust in Poland
The Lawrence County Historical Society invites you to a powerful presentation hosted by Diana Farrell, a ‘Classrooms Without Borders’ (CWB) participant. This unique journey will take participants beyond the history books and directly into the physical spaces where history happened. Traveling through historic Jewish quarters, former ghettos, and memorial sites like Auschwitz-Birkenau and Treblinka, you will walk in the footsteps of those who survived and those who were lost. Join us to discover how seeing these profound, quiet places firsthand transforms our understanding of the Holocaust and underscores the vital importance of keeping these memories alive.
