The Lawrence County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and promoting the rich history and cultural heritage of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Housed in the beautifully restored Joseph A. Clavelli Mansion, a National Register-listed Edwardian Colonial Revival home, the Society offers a wide range of public programs, permanent and rotating exhibits, educational events, and guided tours. Visitors can explore extensive archives, including genealogy resources, immigration and naturalization records, historic photographs, and a searchable cemetery database. Popular programs include Civil War lecture series, community history nights, youth education initiatives, and our digital Virtual Museum.
